The crowd rose to their feet as Mao Ao Gang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herminio Resto. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Timoteo Columbo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Gonza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Columbo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ke Yan could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Herminio Resto however easily saved by the left post. Cecilio Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Bizen came free, but Herminio Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, LosAndes666's Aldo Bizen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herminio Resto. Herminio Resto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Erik Lamela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goalkeeper Herminio Resto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ke Yan. 38 minutes into the match, Timoteo Columbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Gonza. LosAndes666's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Columbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 44 minutes into the game, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Ke Yan came free, but Herminio Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cecilio Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Justo Elequemedo in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Academia 1903's Lucien de Neutere. Cecilio Gonza came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø. But to his dismay, Nicanor Morenø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. LosAndes666's Donato Iyan was substituted for Ke Yan. If Nicanor Morenø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Mao Ao Gang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Resto. Herminio Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Iyan in the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Jeremias Ezkerra took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Cecilio Gonza to make any attempt to save it. He Zhen Guang scored 5-4 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Resto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
