An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Graça in the 15th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Remus Talianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Godinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Talianu having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Yetkiner Yasun came free, but Hilário Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Fabrício Graça dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remus Talianu, 1-1. Remus Talianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heitor Vigário, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Talianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Osório in the 39th minute. Andrei Joita struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Hilário Aveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lutanu. Paras Burr charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paras Burr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to G.D Vitória de Sernache getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Paras Burr hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 61st minute Heitor Vigário shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Talianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Panduru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hilário Aveiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Panduru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Panduru got free with Hilário Aveiro in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, FC Lutanu's Hilário Aveiro threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philip Aelgoet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 69 minutes into the match, Yetkiner Yasun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hilário Aveiro, 1-3. FC Lutanu's Remus Talianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Vigário in the 74th minute of play. Hilário Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Panduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's George Greblă got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute of the match FC Lutanu got a corner. G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andrei Joita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Philip Aelgoet made a great header on FC Lutanu's corner, it was just that G.D Vitória de Sernache's Hilário Aveiro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 88th minute, Philip Aelgoet made a precise shot to the right of Hilário Aveiro. G.D Vitória de Sernache's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 92nd minute Philip Aelgoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilário Aveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
