A collision led to Partington getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Afiq Butcher hit a great ball. If 沈益广 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexander Tuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Partington were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 柯挺响 to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Alexander Tuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, 许广骏 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. John Cho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 柯挺响, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Afiz Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 上海杨浦海鹰联队's 苏银鹏 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 彭笑耀 in the 66th minute of play forced Partington's goalkeeper John Cho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Afiz Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 苏银鹏 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Tuan in the 71st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Farhan Boon couldn't finish the play. The supporters of 上海杨浦海鹰联队 booed when Partington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zak Soon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Partington's zone, 罗星岚 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Cho came out of the goal and 罗星岚 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Tuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of 苏银鹏 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Partington left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 上海杨浦海鹰联队.
