The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mourits Franks during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Seed Town West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mourits Franks to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Mourits Franks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincenzo Grifoll in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurids Baylund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Georg Gielchen in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Georg Gielchen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Laurids Baylund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Harold Sigtenborg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Günter Wienhold. Günter Wienhold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Harold Sigtenborg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günter Wienhold came out of the goal and Harold Sigtenborg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kristofer Kilstrøm came free, but Günter Wienhold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Seed Town West's goalkeeper Laurids Baylund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincenzo Grifoll. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seed Town West were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristofer Kilstrøm was the one to do the kick off. Fabien Grub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurids Baylund having to interfere. Laurids Baylund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincenzo Grifoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Kristofer Kilstrøm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Günter Wienhold. Kristofer Kilstrøm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Seed Town West made a substitution. Valder Garmann replaced Kristofer Kilstrøm. Seed Town West's Valentin Mørkbak was substituted for Freddi Kallesøe. Laurids Baylund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincenzo Grifoll in the 68th minute of play. Halfdan Amandus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Günter Wienhold made a huge save. Gunther Trendelenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincenzo Grifoll kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Olaf Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Breuning hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincenzo Grifoll in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurids Baylund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Seed Town West supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seed Town West would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
