To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Floresta Negra FC's Egun Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andries De Putter in the 16th minute of play. Lei Bin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Andy Cole sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Floresta Negra FC defense, Peru Diaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egun Pais. The Floresta Negra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egun Pais should have stopped the shot. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lei Bin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Cole in the 43rd minute of the match. Jordi Scherz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A hard shot 47 in the game by Vito Seco from a close distance when the talented Lei Bin managed to make a qualified save. AFC United's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Floresta Negra FC's Vivaldo Amorim was substituted for Vânderson Vale. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andries De Putter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game Gernando Rocha made a throw-in which Gafur Dolunay played forward. Andries De Putter might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egun Pais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andries De Putter ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Egun Pais successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute Jardel Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andries De Putter ran back to his position shaking his head. Lei Bin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
