After 20 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Juan Gotzon. After 22 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Argi Jimenez. Olgierd Prusek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Belchior Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Melquiades Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when EL RUSSO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaztea Valensuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 33rd minute of play. La Gallardeta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vintilă Guriță in the 35th minute. Vintilă Guriță made a great header on La Gallardeta's corner, it was just that EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Belchior Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgierd Prusek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Vrede in the 58th minute of play forced EL RUSSO FC's goalkeeper Natalio Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Polyakov made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gaztea Valensuela however managed to control.
