Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karsten Karlsen started the match with the kick off. Adolfo Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Engström in the 7th minute of the match. Adolfo Carrizo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Överås IK's Simon Odén. But to his dismay, Simon Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Patrick Engström took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Carrizo. Adolfo Carrizo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcus Bergsten lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Överås IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! 17 minutes into the match, Avram Lupoaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eero Viks. Överås IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avram Lupoaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Eero Viks made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Saúl Gentiletti sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Karsten Karlsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karsten Karlsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eero Viks was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Saúl Gentiletti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saúl Gentiletti really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Överås IK's Simon Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eero Viks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saúl Gentiletti during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Överås IK booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saúl Gentiletti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgo Saidla made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jan Hydén. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saúl Gentiletti made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eero Viks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Karsten Karlsen came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Överås IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karsten Karlsen couldn't finish the play. Eero Viks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Karsten Karlsen put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Carrizo. Karsten Karlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Carrizo having to interfere. The supporters of Överås IK booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vytautas Petkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jack Grealish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. During the 78th minute of the match Saúl Gentiletti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saúl Gentiletti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Saúl Gentiletti. With a little luck, FC Žalia Giria's Adolfo Carrizo got control of the ball when Karsten Karlsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kasper Hafström came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adolfo Carrizo could save by the left post. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 85th minute, but Adolfo Carrizo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Žalia Giria hanging dry this time. Överås IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Hydén in the 87th minute. Överås IK played a much better game than FC Žalia Giria and deserved their victory. The FC Žalia Giria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
