The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamín Fedeghelli in the 3rd minute of play forced PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cobresal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Romelio Ordaz scored to the left of an out of position Alcadio Alderete, making the score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goalkeeper Alcadio Alderete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Arlegui. 12 minutes into the game, Romelio Ordaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alcadio Alderete. Romelio Ordaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Delzo came free, but Alcadio Alderete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Pau Delzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 25 minutes into the game, Baldomero Vanohier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal the free kick. After 25 played minutes PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Vanohier. Dionisio Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Gandarillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 29 minutes on the clock, Jonathan Brotfeld commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 29th minute, Jonathan Brotfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Xamín Fedeghelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Costa skillfully saved the ball. Gonzalo Taibo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Xamín Fedeghelli took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Costa. Dionisio Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Romelio Ordaz took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Alcadio Alderete to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th minute Omar Arlegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alcadio Alderete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Romelio Ordaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alcadio Alderete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romelio Ordaz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Baldomero Vanohier got a free kick in the 59th minute. Omar Arlegui charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Arlegui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Arlegui to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Roldán Botello made a precise shot to the right of Alcadio Alderete. Cobresal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cobresal's Xamín Fedeghelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dionisio Costa. That made the score 5-2 after 68 minutes of play. Albin Vidma's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dionisio Costa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Romelio Ordaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Arlegui took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alcadio Alderete. Alcadio Alderete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Tauro Fornes struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Alcadio Alderete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC. Cobresal's Alcadio Alderete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Arlegui in the 91st minute of play. Alcadio Alderete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelio Ordaz in the 93rd minute of play. Alcadio Alderete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romelio Ordaz went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC fully deserved thier win.
