The wind increased when Caco Souza made the kick off in the second half. VARGINHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri Bengisoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Figueirense - FSCMZ's Tony Hazard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tony Hazard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Figueirense - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tony Hazard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 92 minutes into the game, one of Figueirense - FSCMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 0-8 came through a penalty shot after 96 played minutes, when VARGINHA FC:s Sabri Bengisoy calmly waited for Figueirense - FSCMZ:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. VARGINHA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
