The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermegildo Matxin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Paublo in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When BAC Belgrano de Cba's Cecilio Sugar in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sebastian Enekoitz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sebastián Cassin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin did a great save. In the 35th minute Marcial Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin got control of the ball when Waldemar Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Hitz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 51st minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Matxin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin. But to his dismay, Waldemar Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 56 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Hitz came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Hitz in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Hitz in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Matxin saved BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting behind. After 74 minutes, Bartolo Paublo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BAC Belgrano de Cba and the Black Rose 1979 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolo Paublo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. BAC Belgrano de Cba made a substitution. Constantino Lia replaced Ladislao Inko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Hitz in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BAC Belgrano de Cba getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Aming Kuncoro hit a great ball. Sebastian Enekoitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Matxin. BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BAC Belgrano de Cba's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Black Rose 1979 had won, even though BAC Belgrano de Cba had held more of the ball.
