Epifanio Boniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Elpidio Gabrio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Re Loco's Arne Rusterholz. Arne Rusterholz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Grütly booed when Re Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauã Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grütly were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Re Loco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Olentzaro took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Elpidio Gabrio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alejandro Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mateusz Sakowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Epifanio Boniel made a huge save. In the 24th minute Elpidio Gabrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Rusterholz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Oliviero in the 25th minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Re Loco booed when Grütly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Sakowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Sakowicz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Boniel saved Grütly from getting behind. Gonzalo Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Boniel having to interfere. Arne Rusterholz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Grütly's Tomas Oliviero. But to his dismay, Tomas Oliviero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Re Loco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carles Artadi in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Gonzalo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Grütly's Faustino Quintin was substituted for Marcelino Eguerdi. The wind increased when Tomas Oliviero made the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Mateusz Sakowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Boniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Carles Artadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Re Loco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carles Artadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Re Loco's Nicolás González was substituted for Poli Valente. In the 69th minute Celso Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Re Loco's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Lalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Elpidio Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Arne Rusterholz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celso Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Lalla in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Grütly booed when Re Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Grütly's Tomas Oliviero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Rusterholz. Arne Rusterholz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. After a defensive mix-up in Grütly's zone, Celso Lalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Boniel came out of the goal and Celso Lalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Lalla went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
