The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Mergildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to C.A. LANUS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Everardo Gaizko hit a great ball. C.A. LANUS's Cristian Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 11th minute of play. Cristian Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 17th minute of the match. Adamantios Geronimidis struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ariel Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. LANUS. Ariel Venerando was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Vaani Gómez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vaani Gómez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adamantios Geronimidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of C.A. LANUS booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibo Cimillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Road To Glory's Ariel Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Geronimidis in the 87th minute of play. Per-Åke Saâdallah made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adamantios Geronimidis however managed to control. When the final whistle went the supporters of Road To Glory were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant C.A. LANUS side.
