Ariel Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedor Talaš, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jan Cihlář sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Gugu de Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Slavomil Kalný. FC Cvikovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gugu de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slavomil Kalný read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Gugu de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Road To Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu de Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes FC Cvikovo got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Hujer. After a rather tough play, FC Cvikovo's Fedor Talaš got a free kick in the 39th minute. Slavomil Kalný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Lucio Abajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavomil Kalný was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rogelio Abeita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Slavomil Kalný. FC Cvikovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
Road To Glory's Hipolito Foro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miroslav Hujer in the 50 minute of the game. Slavomil Kalný didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu de Mendonça went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Gugu de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slavomil Kalný didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gugu de Mendonça went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Slavomil Kalný made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gugu de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. If Gugu de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute, Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Slavomil Kalný. Slavomil Kalný yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Gugu de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slavomil Kalný made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gugu de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Gugu de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Slavomil Kalný didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Road To Glory. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Road To Glory's goalkeeper Ariel Venerando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Gugu de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Road To Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu de Mendonça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gugu de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavomil Kalný having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Cvikovo's Slavomil Kalný got control of the ball when Gugu de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gugu de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slavomil Kalný. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. The Road To Glory supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Road To Glory would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
