Ignacio Di Stasi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Judas Verón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Judas Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Di Stasi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albeiro Usuriaga in the 13th minute of the match. Judas Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Ignacio Di Stasi made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters rose to their feet, but Judas Verón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Di Stasi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignacio Di Stasi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignacio Di Stasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Judas Verón in the 30th minute. The Isótopos V.M. fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Isótopos V.M.'s Pedro Domingues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Judas Verón was the one to do the kick off. Judas Verón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignacio Di Stasi having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Judas Verón in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Di Stasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignacio Di Stasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Di Stasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 57th minute of play. Taribo West took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Raggio. Bernardo Raggio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Blue Dolar. 64 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Ignacio Di Stasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albeiro Usuriaga in the 65th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isótopos V.M.'s Fulgencio Matia was substituted for Jonatan Maidana. 74 minutes in the game, Albeiro Usuriaga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernardo Raggio having to interfere. Ignacio Di Stasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Judas Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Di Stasi was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Isótopos V.M.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garcia Morros took the corner. The corner ended in Garcia Morros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi did a great save. Bernardo Raggio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Albeiro Usuriaga sent off a good shot on target. Albeiro Usuriaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Raggio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
