Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mostafa Muhammed in the 17th minute of the match. Papi Francisco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Ceni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Cumhur Günay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Curcio made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacinto Tirso. The crowd rose to their feet as MOEBIO's Jacinto Tirso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogério Ceni. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. If Jacinto Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Fleszar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MOEBIO's Jan Fleszar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Pracki in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fan Yang Hong hit a great ball. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mostafa Muhammed in the 35th minute of play. When MOEBIO's Mostafa Muhammed in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jan Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Pracki in the 54th minute of play. MOEBIO's Federico Girotti was substituted for Papi Francisco. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Steve Harris was substituted for Luca Savini. Fan Yang Hong got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cumhur Günay. After some careless play in the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS defense, Federico Girotti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot.
