Isótopos V.M.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Benny Niva scored to the left of an out of position Ignacio Di Stasi, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benny Niva in the 16th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Ignacio Di Stasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Benny Niva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Taribo West shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Nogueira made a great header on Isótopos V.M.'s corner, it was just that Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio managed to reach the ball for a save. 27 minutes into the game, Crişan Fenomeno threw the ball into play from the sideline. Celta de Virgos's Freddy Felo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benny Niva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ignacio Di Stasi made a huge save. A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jayden Beaverley hit a great ball. Ignacio Di Stasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Rosio in the 41st minute. Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Isótopos V.M. from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Albeiro Usuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albeiro Usuriaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Albeiro Usuriaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isótopos V.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jayden Beaverley hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Isótopos V.M. booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayden Beaverley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ignacio Di Stasi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo. But to his dismay, David Astudillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alexis Sanchez hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76thth minute of the game David Astudillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crişan Fenomeno made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fulgencio Matia however managed to control. Isótopos V.M.'s Ignacio Di Stasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Astudillo in the 81st minute of play. Zacarias Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taribo West, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Fulgencio Matia got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Taribo West. Zacarias Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Pedro Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Crişan Fenomeno made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fulgencio Matia however managed to control. 89 minutes into the game, David Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ignacio Di Stasi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celta de Virgos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
