The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Berdoi got free with Guto Jacinto in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 6th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Erroman to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes, GeRaÇãO-83's Billy Backman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Germano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GeRaÇãO-83 reached it. In the 13thth minute of the game Ren Jie Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute of the match GeRaÇãO-83 got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Backman ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Carl Ancelotti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Didi Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Backman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. GeRaÇãO-83's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 30th minute of play. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ren Jie Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ren Jie Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 38 minutes, Ren Jie Fan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GeRaÇãO-83 and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ren Jie Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Benigno Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guto Jacinto having to make a save. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Couto in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Erroman during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GeRaÇãO-83 booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes GeRaÇãO-83 got a freekick which was hit by Balhikapungava Bonk.

55 minutes into the game, Ren Jie Fan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Germano. Ren Jie Fan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 59th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. When Ren Jie Fan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the GeRaÇãO-83 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Jie Fan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan got a free kick in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Nevada came free, but Guto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ren Jie Fan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Luiz Fabiano Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GeRaÇãO-83's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ren Jie Fan sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ren Jie Fan. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Constantino Avellaneda hit a great ball. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ren Jie Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Ancelotti kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Club Atlético Atlanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GeRaÇãO-83's performance. The match ended with a win for GeRaÇãO-83.
