Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wesley Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekhemos Kezdoglou having to interfere. Helmut Lossimäe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Chiru in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alin Chiru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacob Josef Saumon made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alix Poulain. Vicente Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Helmut Lossimäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Chiru in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Kertzfeld's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Constantin Bâlea was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Acatar's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC Acatar's Denis Jilăveanu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Helmut Lossimäe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Chiru in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Joël Rétière shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Constantin Bâlea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Helmut Lossimäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fc Kertzfeld's Paul-Henri Michalet was substituted for Alix Poulain. When Alin Chiru came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Acatar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alin Chiru couldn't finish the play. Vlad Oardă struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Helmut Lossimäe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Acatar. Fc Kertzfeld's Renan Blard was substituted for Joël Rétière. With a little luck, FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou got control of the ball when Wesley Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Wesley Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
