The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Robert Roman fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Robert Roman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Vicente Carvalhais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Hahay's Adam Glembin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Espinosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jesualdo Carvalho's late challenge caught a Hahay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesualdo Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Jesualdo Carvalho. In the 12th minute Bernard Drugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Espinosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SLB TELHA's Joaquim Espinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Drugi in the 15th minute of play. Jairo Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Zbyszek Pilipiec made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Espinosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Drugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Drugi in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Raul Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Bernard Drugi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquim Espinosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquim Espinosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Drugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Bernard Drugi took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Espinosa. Joaquim Espinosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Robert Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Hahay made a substitution. Alfred Skirzynski replaced Radomir Karwowski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Drugi was the one to do the kick off. Bernard Drugi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Joaquim Espinosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 63rd play minutes Daniel Noworolnik shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Joaquim Espinosa and just under the crossbar into goal. When Daniel Noworolnik came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Noworolnik couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Noworolnik came free, but Joaquim Espinosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernard Drugi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Bernard Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesualdo Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zbyszek Pilipiec. Hahay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raul Nunes's late challenge caught a Hahay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Raul Nunes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bernard Drugi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Drugi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Espinosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Modesto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Noworolnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Noworolnik in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Modesto. When the match was over Hahay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SLB TELHA throughout the match.
