The referee ignored Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's protests and gave Eurico França a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Eurico França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Tande. Hahay's Zbyszek Pilipiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Tande in the 66th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico França in the 92nd minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Zbyszek Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Pinho came free, but Zbyszek Pilipiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hahay had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
