Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renan Melo should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Bettencourt in the 6th minute of the match. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Aykut Canel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Souto. Renan Melo was a little too slow when Ernani Souto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. Caetano Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Wilton Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Vale in the 22nd minute of play forced A.A. Francana's goalkeeper Renan Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Wilton Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Francana's Renan Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Wilton Vale put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Renan Melo. In the 26th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Renan Melo made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernani Souto couldn't finish the play. In the 44th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chupan Doar to maneuver through the defense. Chupan Doar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Charlie Boström made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Aykut Canel sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute, Frank Lampard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Vale in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Bartosz Bereszynski got a free kick in the 58th minute. A.A. Pabla Zuniga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Aykut Canel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TAQUARI FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.A. Francana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
