The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilton Vale got free with Rodriguinho Sousa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilton Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodriguinho Sousa. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 20th minute of play. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 22nd minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilton Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale. But to his dismay, Wilton Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TAQUARI FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deilmison van Basten in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Salgado saved TAQUARI FC from getting behind. Rodolfo Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 38th minute of play. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Vale was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Denílson Magalhães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Vale in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sousa saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Salgado. Deilmison van Basten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin was substituted for Roque Roa. TAQUARI FC's Frank Lampard was substituted for Durvalino Guerra. After having played for 69 minutes, Wilton Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitor Beckenbauer in the 73rd minute. After 73 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Magalhães. Erubiel Valery kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
