The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Modestio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Moise Vlădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Fe having to interfere. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Porfiro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Itzaina might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Itzaina ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Borcz in the 13th minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Porfiro had several of the DINAMO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ysmael Marfil as he didn't even see the shot coming. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Vlădean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliciano Porfiros short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Ysmael Marfil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Borcz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Fe saved Trapiche from getting behind. Ysmael Marfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Itzaina in the 28th minute. After 28th play minutes Feliciano Porfiro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Ysmael Marfil and just under the crossbar into goal. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Osasun in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Ryszard Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trapiche's Federico Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Cina in the 42nd minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Cina to make the kick off. Ysmael Marfil came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Trapiche's Hugo Itzaina. But to his dismay, Hugo Itzaina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Osasun's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredo Herzog who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Trapiche's corner Fredo Herzog fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ysmael Marfil quite easily take care of the ball. If Albert Filipoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Porfiro in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ysmael Marfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70thth minute of the game Traian Stoiculescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trapiche's Federico Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Claudio Cina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ysmael Marfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trapiche made a substitution. Ziggy Marley replaced Rafael Modestio. The corner ended in Dorin Agârbiceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trapiche's Federico Fe did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Osasun came free, but Ysmael Marfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Osasun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ysmael Marfil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the DINAMO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trapiche.
