The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Spartan FC Mogilany's Vsevolod Mischenko got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Nicolescu in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Alinborger booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Mischenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Octavian Nicolescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Sever Ulici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes in the game, Angel Veronica fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Iwo Domarecki having to interfere. Iwo Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bîlbă in the 20th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Spartan FC Mogilany's Octavian Nicolescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeu Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Spartan FC Mogilany were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after FC Alinborger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leroy Parkinson took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Leroy Parkinson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tadeu Moraes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Bîlbă in the 31st minute of play. In the 47th minute, Octavian Nicolescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Tadeu Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tadeu Moraes was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Octavian Nicolescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octavian Nicolescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 70th minute, Angel Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Pădureanu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Leroy Parkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Nicolescu in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, FC Alinborger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Teodoroiu to maneuver through the defense. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Nicolescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartan FC Mogilany's Sever Ulici slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeu Moraes. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play. Octavian Nicolescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeu Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavian Nicolescu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 94th minute. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Hähner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
