The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Paolo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Berdoi in the 87th minute of play forced Racing Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Laureano Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Di Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Krzysztof Rutkowski put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Atlanta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Comunicaciones.
