With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Mancini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Mancini was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Adil Vavasseur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adil Vavasseur really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 29th minute, Biagio Baciadonne made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fernando Almeida. Febre Amarela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 33rd minute Febre Amarela were awarded a corner. Adil Vavasseur went to the cornerflag to take it. 37 minutes into the match, Febre Amarela's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Bertoni came free, but Luís Fernando Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Emanuele Bertoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Luís Fernando Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
