The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of TWO-KINGS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Estudiantes de Bonao:s goal. Bernard Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Atauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, TWO-KINGS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Domenec to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Hermengildo Atauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Abel Santana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Bento. With his leg Tomas Bento managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Estudiantes de Bonao's Abel Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Abel Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, TWO-KINGS's Marcelo Domenec got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Walter Córdova took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Bento. TWO-KINGS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, TWO-KINGS's Hermengildo Atauri made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Macedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Santana in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Bento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Abel Santana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Bento. The goal made the score 2-1. Baltasar Nava might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Nava ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Santana in the 40th minute of play forced TWO-KINGS's goalkeeper Tomas Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Abel Santana made the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Marcelo Domenec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Bonao's Abel Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Bento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Abel Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Bento was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, TWO-KINGS's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Santana came free, but Tomas Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de Bonao's Abel Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Bento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de Bonao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
