Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yunus came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Yunus, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 21st minute of play. In the 37th minute, Erlantz Bermejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 45th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Yalvaç in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Orhan Yalvaç. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 55th minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. H E P T A N's Ahmet Kağan Çelikel was substituted for Aytuğ Nezihi. H E P T A N's kaya Erakalın was substituted for İlhami Akkurt. After 79 played minutes H E P T A N got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Timurkan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Antunez in the 86th minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Laurin Mangas in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by H E P T A N's Latif Uğurtay. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Antunez in the 95th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leroy Antunez in the 96th minute. It was a well-played corner which Emmanuel Otero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. H E P T A N's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
