Erik Brenna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Miulescu in the 22nd minute of play. Rune Rundhaug recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marko Ööpik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Rundhaug in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manole Miulescu in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Brenna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, mixednutz XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgeir Lundhaug to maneuver through the defense. Erik Brenna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Miulescu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Rune Rundhaug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, mixednutz XI's Erik Brenna got control of the ball when Adolf Kadastik tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manole Miulescu in the 43rd minute of play forced mixednutz XI's goalkeeper Erik Brenna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Armageddon booed when mixednutz XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Tvete didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Armageddon's Giancarlo Antognoni was substituted for Olaf Kööp. Thomas Edland made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Øyvind Torkelsen. Benjamin Furuli kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Michel Legdeur came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Armageddon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Legdeur couldn't finish the play. Erik Brenna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Legdeur in the 73rd minute of play. mixednutz XI's Erik Brenna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Legdeur in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, mixednutz XI's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Legdeur came free, but Erik Brenna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
