In the 27th minute, Juraj Gross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tomasz Jarosiewicz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ladislav Lomnický was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pavol Rybnický to strike the kick off in the second half. Ladislav Lomnický showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Jacinto in the 51st minute of the match. UFC Pivnica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
