Tomáš Mišík hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Juan Manuel Cruz put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ladislav Lomnický. Juan Manuel Cruz's late challenge caught a UFC Pivnica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Manuel Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Azulgranas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Manuel Cruz. Azulgranas AFC's Rosendo Paez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Vičan, made in the 26th minute of the game. Antonio Inko made a great header on Azulgranas AFC's corner, it was just that UFC Pivnica's Ladislav Lomnický managed to reach the ball for a save. After 45 minutes, Lilko Grúmenov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azulgranas AFC and the UFC Pivnica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ľubomír Smatana to strike the kick off in the second half. Azulgranas AFC's Leo Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislav Záruba in the 51st minute of play. Juan Manuel Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ladislav Lomnický made a huge save. Leo Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislav Záruba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Juan Manuel Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Lomnický saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Michaël Myers came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Azulgranas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michaël Myers couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas AFC's Lilko Grúmenov got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ladislav Lomnický showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michaël Myers in the 68th minute of the match. Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomáš Mišík in the 70 minute of the game. Leo Henric had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Viktor Kasarda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Michaël Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Pavol Rybnický's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Henric was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th match minute, UFC Pivnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vičan to maneuver through the defense. Michaël Myers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ladislav Lomnický made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Pavol Rybnický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavol Rybnický recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
