When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Isaias Jakue took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edmond Verdun to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 18 minutes, Prospero Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Errecaborda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Isaias Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Isaias Jakues short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Edmond Verdun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the game, Clemente Silviano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sporting Buceo's Xuan Casillas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maureen Franco made a kick off. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maureen Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Máximo Correia having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Ado. Sporting Buceo's Feng Jun was substituted for Isaias Jakue. Sporting Buceo's Sebastian Muc was substituted for Filimon Gamburtsev. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Errecaborda AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yao Yan Sen was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Buceo's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sporting Buceo's corner Yao Yan Sen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Maureen Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Prospero Jerardo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Sporting Buceo's Feng Jun got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. Feng Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Feng Jun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Jun in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Pastor Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. Sporting Buceo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
