The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Jaraczewski got free with Benny Stolpe in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anselmo Gai's late challenge caught a Ekipa Damcia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Gai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ekipa Damcia booed when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Sérgio Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Ekipa Damcia's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Avellaneda came free, but Giancarlo Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Jarosiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Benny Stolpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Gustaw Jaraczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Stolpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Orlondon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Maciej Klewinski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A.
