Leo Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes got control of the ball when Domingo Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Baumar in the 22nd minute of play. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Leo Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bleile in the 34th minute of play. Leo Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Bîlbă's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, FC Alinborger's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingo Blai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee ignored FC Alinborger's protests and gave Angel Veronica a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Federico Lia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tadeu Moraes. That made the score 4-1 after 48 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Sebastian Bîlbă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Leo Franco made a huge save. The supporters of FC Alinborger booed when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Gajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Rydelius in the 59th minute of the match. BOCA JUNIORS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The audience was convinced that Angel Veronica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Franco was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tadeu Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angel Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Franco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Rydelius in the 86th minute of play forced FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Baumar in the 87th minute of the match. Sebastian Bîlbă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Franco firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 92nd minute, Domingo Blai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. FC Alinborger were furious when Paul Buteanu was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger's Paul Buteanu got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Domingo Blai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS reached it. FC Alinborger's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
