In the 10th minute Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustín Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustín Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustín Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Rebelution's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Linus Fredriksson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustín Rossi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos got control of the ball when Chiquito Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Amboy FC from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Petersson. Agustín Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Petersson in the 46th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Rebelution's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Petersson in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Teixeira in the 92nd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rebelution players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
