Ole-Gunnar Klose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lajos Vadász having to interfere. With a little luck, Club A. The crowd rose to their feet as Darkness's Ole-Gunnar Klose slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lajos Vadász. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel 梅西 was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Club A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel 梅西 to maneuver through the defense. 51 minutes into the match, Club A. Clodoveo Leizarraga lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Independiente got a corner. Darkness's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 87th minute, Roberto Rojelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oswaldo Murillo. The goal made the score 1-2. Club A. Independiente's Lajos Vadász played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Canor in the 92nd minute of play. Although Darkness had been in control for most of the match, Club A. Independiente still came away with the win.
