After taking down the ball on Belgrano de Pibasog's corner Eustaquio Fortun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oswaldo Murillo quite easily take care of the ball. Oswaldo Murillo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón. But to his dismay, Judas Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Judas Verón got free with Oswaldo Murillo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Blue Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Maximiano Delgado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Darkness's Oswaldo Murillo did a great save. 27 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Ole-Gunnar Klose came free, but Bernardo Raggio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that César Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Raggio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Darkness's Oswaldo Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Darkness from getting a goal against them. Oswaldo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Judas Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. At last the ball reached Eustaquio Fortun at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Darkness. 4-0. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Oswaldo Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Judas Verón was the one to do the kick off. Oswaldo Murillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Judas Verón's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. When Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darkness's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Judas Verón in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. César Montes hit a great ball. The supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Belgrano de Pibasog were awarded a corner. Eustaquio Fortun went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eustaquio Fortun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oswaldo Murillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oswaldo Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo Murillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Darkness's Kane Einstein was substituted for Maximiliano Perrando. In the 71st minute, Gaston Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Izel to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Judas Verón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Murillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. 92 minutes into the match, Darkness's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Ilinca came free, but Oswaldo Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Benigno Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans cheered their team off the field, for while Darkness had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
