The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phelipe Escarza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mateus Ardines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Gurbet having to interfere. Adamu Sever charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adamu Sever the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes SARI ZEYBEK got a freekick which was hit by Adamu Sever. In the 12th minute of the match Eduardo Lezarreta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Gurbet skillfully saved the ball. Phelipe Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Melih Özdener fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SARI ZEYBEK's protests and gave Melih Özdener a yellow card for diving instead. Phelipe Escarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Özdener, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's goalkeeper Tahsin Gurbet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Ardines. Tahsin Gurbet was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya came free, but Phelipe Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, SARI ZEYBEK's Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phelipe Escarza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half SARI ZEYBEK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, SARI ZEYBEK's Melih Özdener nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phelipe Escarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Melih Özdener came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Phelipe Escarza could save by the left post. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya scored to the left of an out of position Phelipe Escarza, making the score, 1-4. In the 67th minute Fevzi Oyal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phelipe Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melih Özdener got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Melih Özdener hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Quintan Ontavilla's late challenge caught a SARI ZEYBEK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelipe Escarza came out and tried to block the shot, but Resul Satvet slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 86th minute. Adamu Sever kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SARI ZEYBEK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
