After 3 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Kieth Hustinx. Brian Chaverri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose Boldu. Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jose Boldu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron. But to his dismay, Gianfranco Saron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoil Pequeño got free with Emiliano Saron in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Silveira. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Regis Padriña got a free kick in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Joakim Back in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Junior Busquets. When Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoil Pequeño to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianfranco Saron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Saron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoil Pequeño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Regis Padriña heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu got control of the ball when Gianfranco Saron tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Gianfranco Saron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Boldu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Celestino Salgado replaced Bjørn Ironside. Valle Saron's Joshua Saron was substituted for Gringo Saron. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Padierna in the 74th minute of play forced Valle Saron's goalkeeper Emiliano Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Leobardo Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Dean in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu got control of the ball when Arí Saron tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Arí Saron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Boldu. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Saron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Zeng Jian Cheng replaced Doriva Saldanha. Leobardo Padierna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arí Saron's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Jose Boldu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
