After having played for 10 minutes, Artal Burualla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artal Burualla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ were awarded a corner. Joaquin Arruta went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Mariano Moya to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexander Shaw despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Ferdinand Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artal Burualla in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Lapadula in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Johnson saved ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ from getting behind. Ferdinand Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 26th minute of the match. Artal Burualla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Shaw having to make a save. Alexander Shaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artal Burualla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Johnson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Lapadula's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Fryderyk Kisiel missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 47 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ferdinand Johnson right hand side. AC Papicho's Rodolfo Mora was substituted for Egun Lisundia. After the first half AC Papicho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Lapadula to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Artal Burualla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes AC Papicho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Arruta who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th match minute, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Peiro to maneuver through the defense. AC Papicho's Frasquito Abrego was substituted for Gianluca Lapadula. A sloppy throw-in by Xavier Comillas in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Joaquin Arruta. Frasquito Abrego scored 0-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Johnson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when AC Papicho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Comillas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Artal Burualla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Shaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
