Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gianfranco Saron took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute Gianfranco Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Escobar in the 12th minute of play forced Valle Saron's goalkeeper Emiliano Saron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Ispuzua. Ruy Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianfranco Saron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rojelio Daza to maneuver through the defense. If Gianfranco Saron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Gianfranco Saron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianfranco Saron in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Berger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruy Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianfranco Saron in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, ALIANZA 1901's Richie Ason made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Saron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emiliano Saron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Valle Saron's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Emiliano Saron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Pepito Saron came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Valle Saron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepito Saron couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Escobar was the one to do the kick off. When Valle Saron's Gianfranco Saron in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALIANZA 1901's goalie prevented a goal. Valle Saron's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brian Chaverri in the 54th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gianfranco Saron got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruy Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianfranco Saron's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Gianfranco Saron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruy Berger having to interfere. Valle Saron's Chumo Salces was substituted for Pepito Saron. ALIANZA 1901 made a substitution. Mincho Mar replaced Luis Escobar. 67 minutes into the match, Arí Saron notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger. Ruy Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ALIANZA 1901 made a substitution. Nicasio Rivadeneira replaced Richie Ason. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Saron in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruy Berger saved ALIANZA 1901 from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Chumo Salces notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger. Ruy Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruy Berger came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valle Saron's Chumo Salces. But to his dismay, Chumo Salces quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. When Valle Saron's Arí Saron in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ALIANZA 1901's goalie prevented a goal. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Saron in the 86th minute of play. Ruy Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Saron went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Chumo Salces came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valle Saron had won after a very even match.
