Hans-Jürgen Pötscher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 3rd minute of play. Hans-Jürgen Pötscher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosario Martel's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Jürgen Pötscher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Hans-Jürgen Pötscher made a huge save. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huly Larrauri in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosario Martel in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Nicholas saved New England Minas from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Martel came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosario Martel in the 30th minute of play. Hans-Jürgen Pötscher made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Tony Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. In the 40thth minute of the game Rosario Martel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Programayin's Rosario Martel got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hamza Emin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Programayin's attack was well implemented in the 47th minute, but when Hamza Emin was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Silva to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Guter got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 52 played minutes Programayin got a freekick which was hit by Aresti Temporal. Glen Conklin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hans-Jürgen Pötscher. Programayin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Guter in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xinaro Magarinos to maneuver through the defense. When Glen Conklin came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glen Conklin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Guter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jeremy Nicholas. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play.
