Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edwin Van den Bossche got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Hornbosteler SV defense, Sami Zübeyr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredo Rösch. The Hornbosteler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredo Rösch should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Dario Andreasen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hornbosteler SV's zone, Sami Zübeyr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredo Rösch came out of the goal and Sami Zübeyr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fredo Rösch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Primeiro came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredo Rösch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Czapski in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 26th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredo Rösch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 28th minute of the match. FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Hornbosteler SV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dieter Nisipeanu took the corner. Sami Zübeyr took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredo Rösch. Fredo Rösch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin Costeiantu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Igor Czapski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Zübeyr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Inocencio Primeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hornbosteler SV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sami Zübeyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fredo Rösch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 58th minute. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Andreasen in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Hornbosteler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Gronau to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredo Rösch. Hornbosteler SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sami Zübeyr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Czapski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fredo Rösch. That made the score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Emanuel Lasker replaced Rareș Ignea. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 84th minute of play. Vladimir Kramnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Andreasen, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Fredo Rösch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 88th minute of the match. The FC Maci -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Sami Zübeyr came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Maci -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Zübeyr couldn't finish the play. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Maci -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
