The audience thought a goal was coming when Alcino Jesus got free with Leonardo Da Vinci in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Da Vinci made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Alcino Jesus sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Peruanton Tamayo came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Peruanton Tamayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Montoya fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FERRABARCA FC's protests and gave Sebastian Montoya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FERRABARCA FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sebastian Montoya hit a great ball. André Van Bever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil Vilhena hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Armindo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peruanton Tamayo in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FERRABARCA FC's Flor Buscando got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Peruanton Tamayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute FERRABARCA FC were awarded a corner. Pan Qiang Ran went to the cornerflag to take it. Leonardo Da Vinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Livas in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Simão Boaventura took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Leonardo Da Vinci to make any attempt to save it. If Igor Radomski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Peruanton Tamayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Alcino Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Leonardo Da Vinci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peruanton Tamayo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gil Vilhena hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Igor Radomski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FERRABARCA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pan Qiang Ran in the 60th minute. If Peruanton Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armindo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peruanton Tamayo in the 63rd minute of the match. FERRABARCA FC's Leonardo Da Vinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Boaventura in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Peruanton Tamayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FERRABARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. FERRABARCA FC's attentive Igor Radomski managed to snatch the ball when Gil Vilhena made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Leonardo Da Vinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukianos Livas in the 80th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Armindo Maltez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leonardo Da Vinci came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Ponte do Carro's Simão Boaventura. But to his dismay, Simão Boaventura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Ponte do Carro made a substitution. Palmiro Leite replaced Alcino Jesus. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte do Carro fans cheered their team off the field, for while FERRABARCA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
