Ulises Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Sandaili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Enaut went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Gustavo-Hernán Colidio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Sandaili. Vélez Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo-Hernán Colidio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MORPH's Sergio Tiadoro was substituted for Ladislao Enaut. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sergio Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. MORPH's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Tiadoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán Colidio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Sandaili was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After 80th play minutes Gustavo-Hernán Colidio shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ulises Sandaili and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 86th match minute, MORPH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo-Hernán Solari to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Sergio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Amancio Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Tiadoro came free, but Ulises Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MORPH's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
