When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Cruz made a kick off. After a rather tough play, El Branca del Vieja's Osvaldo Pabla got a free kick in the 54th minute. Silverio Tuste did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Xesus Maldonado 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, El Branca del Vieja's Silverio Tuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xesus Maldonado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After 65 minutes of play, El Branca del Vieja's Silverio Tuste made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xesus Maldonado was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Branca del Vieja's Leonel Cordara was substituted for Faustino Maura. Xesus Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Cordara in the 70th minute of play. El Branca del Vieja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Leonel Cordara put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Xesus Maldonado. Filiberto Benitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xesus Maldonado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute, El Branca del Vieja's Filiberto Benitez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12.
