Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joe Tate got the match started through his kick off. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute, Paulo Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pastor Ado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Allan Varela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palestra do Interior's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emílio Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Errecaborda AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado to fire away a dangerous shot which Allan Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 13th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes Palestra do Interior's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emílio Terra who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Emílio Terra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Allan Varela quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Tate in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulo Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Godoi in the 23rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 24th minute of play. Paulo Godoi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmond Verdun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Paulo Godoi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Paulo Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestra do Interior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 53rd minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errecaborda AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Paulo Godoi scored to the left of an out of position Edmond Verdun, making the score, 0-5. In the 71st minute, Moisés Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Danielsson got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vitório Lago. 73 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Lago came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Prospero Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 78th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner. Niclas Danielsson went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Palestra do Interior's corner Niclas Danielsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 86th minute of play. Allan Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Palestra do Interior defense, Emílio Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Varela. The Palestra do Interior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Varela should have stopped the shot. Clemente Silviano hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Palestra do Interior players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
