Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. In the 12th minute Joe Tate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Tate, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 18th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Erlantz Bermejo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A.D. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Tate in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emílio Terra was slow to take the kick. During this time Errecaborda AFC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Mauro Rameriz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 31st minute of the match. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Joe Tate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Errecaborda AFC's protests and gave Pastor Ado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pastor Ado hit a great ball. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Errecaborda AFC's Emílio Terra in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Tate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erlantz Bermejo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belo Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Emílio Terra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maurino Serena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Joe Tate, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Maurino Serena was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Erlantz Bermejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Erlantz Bermejo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters rose to their feet, but Erlantz Bermejo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Verdun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leroy Antunez in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.D. Alcorcón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Errecaborda AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
