Salvador Gorosti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Salvador Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute Deportivo Luz y Fuerza were awarded a corner. Miran Moco went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Ioan Pușcașu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Salvador Gorosti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nando Medeiros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Argider came free, but Salvador Gorosti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mikolas came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Ernesto Guevara SyD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ernesto Guevara SyD's Salvador Gorosti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ernesto Guevara SyD from getting a goal against them. Martin Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Argider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Salvador Gorosti made a huge save. In the 61st minute of the match, Rigoberto Argider got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salvador Gorosti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Rigoberto Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Argider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Micael Póvoas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ernesto Guevara SyD made a substitution. Jose Velez replaced Micael Póvoas. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when Ernesto Guevara SyD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micael Póvoas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a corner. Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miran Moco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalie and right to Nando Medeiros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ernesto Guevara SyD's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Medeiros in the 83rd minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Salvador Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Mikolas came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Argider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador Gorosti. Rigoberto Argider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Martin Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Tirso in the 95th minute of play. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Luz y Fuerza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
