In the 9th match minute, AGT Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Matias to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Adán made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Timoteo Columbo sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 15 minutes, Timoteo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Columbo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Adán saved AGT Team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltazar Adán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hélio Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sindo Pabon in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 42nd minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polifemo Ricoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Columbo made a kick off. Zinedine Benzema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hélio Mangueira made a huge save. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. Aristides Matias made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zinedine Benzema immediately put the ball in play. 69 minutes into the match, AGT Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Ezkerra came free, but Baltazar Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Adán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Morenø went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Nicanor Morenø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Morenø in the 75th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Nicanor Morenø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Adán. AGT Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Morenø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Nicanor Morenø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Morenø in the 86th minute of play forced AGT Team's goalkeeper Baltazar Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Nicanor Morenø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Lucien de Neutere. AGT Team's Bertran Diaz was substituted for Mincho Staevski. In the 92nd minute, Lucien de Neutere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AGT Team defense, Nicanor Morenø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar Adán. The AGT Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar Adán should have stopped the shot. Academia 1903's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
